Heavy-Duty Deck & Blades: The mower features a heavy-duty fabricated steel cutter deck with a specially designed blade that includes swinging flail blade mounts. This design allows the machine to mulch thick grass and brush with ease. The blade itself is an HD Mulching type with additional flails.

Crank Protection System (CPS) Clutch: All Velocity commercial mowers feature a Crank Protection System (CPS). The blade is attached to a clutch system that is part of the CPS, which eliminates crankshaft damage in the event of the blade striking an object.

Shaft Drive System: The shaft drive system replaces the belt with a solid steel drive shaft for direct power transfer from the engine to the gearbox. The mower uses a 3-speed drive system.

XCV225S Engine: Powered by the new WEIBANG XCV225S engine, it offers exceptional performance for the toughest conditions. The engine includes shaft drive components, 224cc displacement, and a high 4.1kW power output. The new engine also features a 4L fuel tank for maximum runtime.

Vibration Control Technology (VCT): The engine incorporates VCT – Vibration Control Technology (symbol: VCT V™) to reduce handle vibration levels. The measured vibration is 3.7m/s².

Adjustable Handles: The handles of the 53 HGM SD are fully adjustable for the operator’s height, as well as having the ability to be offset for when mowing alongside walls or hedgerows. It also features a front castor wheel for maximum manoeuvrability.
